‘Working Internationally for Libraries’ is CILIP’s initiative to promote collaboration and partnership between libraries in England and their international counterparts.
The project is funded by Arts Council England and delivered in partnership with the British Library, Libraries Connected, British Council, Carnegie UK Trust, CILIP Public and Mobile Libraries Group and CILIP International Libraries and
Information Professionals Group. In its first phase, the project focused on English public libraries to develop a programme of activities including grants for international collaboration projects and an international conference that
featured ideas and inspiration from across the world.
